The first preview of Android P was released in March 2018 and on August 6, 2018, it released to the public. Android P is the 16th version & the ninth update of the Android operating system.

Do Not Disturb mode activated when the phone is placed face down, only allowing notifications from Starred Contacts.
Brightness feature, which modifies screen brightness based on personal preferences.
Rotation Lock button indicates in the navigation bar.
New image and Video can encoder and decoders.
A new "Lockdown" mode is disabled with biometric authentication.
